I took a short break from the Flower Basket Shawl, which seems intent on consuming me. First I whipped up some yummy Manos flowers, one for my February Flower Exchange pal, and one for me, 'cause they are just so pretty.

I think she will be pleased, don't you?
And then, moved on to the Anny Blatt angora and ribbon scarf I purchased for my daughter at Christmas because she wanted to learn how to knit, but of course hasn't.

Isn't it loverly?
Now I feel refreshed, and revived, and ready to dive back in and finish the neverending FBS!

like the flowers. i ended up doing the roses and then tried a flower in kureyon--like the variegated yarns. and the scarf is loverly but you still need to teach dd to knit! just think of the excuse for stash enrichment if there are two knitters in the same house:o)

I love, love, love my flower! Thank you so much! I have admired *both* of those shades of Manos for quite some time, and the whole package was adorable. I am posting pictures of everything on my blog today- the package arrived yesterday after a rainy, gray day- what timing. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I will fix the link tonight- in a rush, I put up the person I am knitting *for*- DUH!!! Kind of a typical MH moment, I am afraid. Hope I didn't blow the surprise.
I wore your flower to work today, and everybody LOVES it! Much kudos coming from LA to OK!
