Show Me The Money!

I was harrassing Emily here recently when she flashed her sock stash. I offered to show her mine, so now I have to put my money where my mouth is. I hope you appreciate this Emily, cause all these skeins and balls had to be removed from their little zip-lock bags to take this photo, and now of course I have to put them all back. Me and my big mouth!

That's sixty-seven potential pair of socks, ya'll.
Just in case you were wondering!

I didn't show you the pair I'm working on right now. My Bloomin' Feet socks and I are not in harmony. I'm not feeling the love. The Fleece Artist Merino is lovely, but the cast on, the pattern, the whole knitting experience is leaving me kind of flat. In fact, the whole knitting thing, for me, has been kind of flat since the end of the Knitting Olympics. I think I might be experiencing a little Post Traumatic Stress. Send me some good sock knitting mojo, yo?

By the way, the random number picker randomly selected Theresa as my KO cheerleader with the most spirit, so a little fiber prize will be flying her way shortly. Maybe she has my sock knitting mojo, and will send it back to me! Here's hoping!

Wow. That is A LOT of sock yarn!!
My stash is very malnourished. Must go feed it...

Thank you for exposing your dark underbellly and not making me feel like a total and complete sock yarn whore. After seeing Emily's I was beginning to think an intervention was needed. After seeing yours, I see I am happily well-adjusted!

umm, errr, ...well Leah, I think that you put my little meager stash into the child's play category... is it possible to die of yarn envy?.. seriously.. its beautimus.

Your sock yarn stash leaves me in AWE!! Pardon me for a second while I wipe off the drool on my keyboard... ;-) That is some serious sock yarn love. Take care and have a great weekend, Leah! :-)

OK, Leah, you win! That is one amazing stash of sock yarn! But wouldn't you really rather do a little color work???

C'mon, you know you want to....

OMG! That is a serious lot of sock yarn. Suddenly I feel better about my stash...

Did you really put all that yarn right back into its ziplock bags right away? Or did you lie down upon its lofty softness and take a cat nap first? Be honest now.

Damn! That is a serious sock yarn stash! It's awesome!!!
Don't know if I care to expose mine though. I honestly don't know how many pairs I could make and sometimes it's better
to not know. :)

I hope your get back into the swing of things with your BF socks! Maybe you just need a little break. That happens to me all the time.

What a beautiful stash girl!! GORGEOUS STUFF!

I'm starting a sock yarn stash busing KAL. Girl, you need to join! And no last minute sock yarn purchases for you:0) All I have is enough for 25 pairs.

My stash pales in comparison! It's tiny! I am simply giddy at the thought of that much yarn. I must shop. Speaking of shopping, what is that giant mass of purple to the left of the CTH? And the long skinny hanks in a row to the far left? What are those? How about the ones with the heart tags? Don't look Abigail, when does the stash busting KAL start again...

That's quite a sock yarn stash! Now I'm going to have to go through mine to see just how many socks I can knit.

Hear that? That was the sound of my jaw hitting the keyboard. GF, that is one serious looking stash. It makes mine look all puny and pathetic. So that means, of course, that I must go out and buy yarn. Yes! And it's your fault, you stash enabler you.

Hehe.

Oh my gosh! I had to click on Emily's link to see this! You have more sock yarn in your stash than my LYS has in the entire store! Don't you just want to pick up a big skein and hold it up to your face, eyes closed, and breathe it in? I can never resist doing that. :)

Dude. That's a LOT of sock yarn. I'm going to have to photograph mine now, I suppose. I don't think I have as much as you do, though.

My sock yarn stash in on the needles - I am jealous and now have a benchmark for sock yarn collecting. The sick thing is that I am opening a yarn shop yet I just bought sock yarn online from a company that we are not going to carry. I found you via Leah's blog and as I told her, it is now my personal mission to try every sock yarn known to mankind. I am a new sock knitter, so I have lots of fun ahead of me. BTW - Ene is GORGEOUS!
