Dustbowl Days

It may be fly by blogging, but I wanted to share this with you.

Unedited. Not even cropped.

It's been dry and windy here in the Southwest, and that wind has stirred up a lot of dust. I was taking my son to Tae Kwon Do and the sun shining through the haze caught my eye.

Think we need some rain.

Pretty pic! I know it may be hard to believe but down here in Loserana we're actually in a drought. Seems odd doesn't it?

What an awesome photo.

As cool as the picture is, I hope you're getting some rain now. We've had it two days in a row in south Kansas.

Wow, could you have timed that bird any better? Beautiful!

I hope you get your needed rain soon, but I'm glad it held off until after the photo at least!

Kira:

You are very welcome to have the rain that we has been falling in Northern California...... Way too much here, and not enough there.

Terrisa:

Cool pic! But that dust is exactly why my sinuses are driving me crazy! Yippee for the light rain we're getting this afternoon!

Beautiful Picture!!! I guess there's a way to look at even miserable circumstances and find the beauty within. :)

Gorgeous pic! I think that Oklahoma and Hawaii need to swap weather patterns- we've had relentless rains and flooding for two months straight. We need socialist rain and drought policies! ;-) Thank you so much for all of your support and good wishes this past week- it really meant a lot to me. Hope all is well with you.. take care, Leah! :-)

Mia:

Very nice pic! The right place at the right time! :-)

What a beautiful picture!

Photos like that make my day. Excellent shot! :)
