...Jenny Dolls. Art glass dolls in the simplistic Amish style designed by Vi Hunter and made by Mosser Glass. Released in 48 unique colors, once a month between 1979 and 1982. So far, I have only managed to locate eighteen. I think they would inspire some rockin' sock yarn colors!

Those are really neat! What made you decide to collect them?

Jenny dolls are totally new to me but I love 'em! I feel very calm after looking at the pics. And I second Carole's question -- what a unique thing to collect. I wanna know more!!!

Very cool! I've seen these on eBay I think, but was skeptical as to whether they were actually vintage or not. Really neat. Actually... the way you have them lined up in your photo... they look like girls in a convent or something. heh

What a beautiful collection! I love the way the light refracts through the translucent ones.

I've visited your blog off and on for a while now, finally made it back to catch up on things and was completely gobsmacked to see MOSSER GLASS! Summer vacation was never complete without a tour of Mosser Glass. I still drive past the plant weekly. Thanks for jarring me into realizing how much *my* hometown gives to the world and how far it can reach. Those things are easy to forget in small towns.
