Saturday Sky

I love this idea. Spicing up the Saturday slump and the summer slowdown. Bringing something beautiful into the world one sunset (daybreak, rainy afternoon, whatever) at a time! Great idea Sandy!

Wow! Whatta sky you got! Mine is blech today, so it was extra nice to see yours.

Your sky is fabulous! The sun rays make a very interesting picture.

I love these rays of sunshine. When I was a small child I always thought that when the rays of sunshine came down from a cloud that people who had died and become angels were traveling to heaven on those rays of sunshine like an escalator or stairs of something. I must have seen it depicted that way in a picture of some kind. And I still think that now. It's a door open to heaven when the sunbeams peek through the clouds. :)

Beautiful Trekking sock. Beautiful grandson. Not that you're the "O" word or anything, but um... I thought you had small children. hehe Not grandchildren! :)

What a pretty sky picture! My husband says it looks like heaven. Thanks for capturing it for us!

What an amazing picture! And btw, you've been added to the list my dear :o)

Wonderful beginning to the Saturday sky! Yours was particulary gorgeous and showy! :D
Thanks, Leah for joining in the fun! I look forward to seeing more of your Saturday skies!

Great picture- gorgeous sky!

Very pretty!

Oh that is a beautiful sky! We don't have sunsets here anymore. Sunsets require the sun and it has apparently left New England for good.

and you want to tell me WHY you are not being paid as a professional photographer???
what a fabulous photo!

Mia:

Great picture. When my stepson was about 5 years old and saw sun rays peeking from behind clouds like that, he used to call it "God's Glory".

Gracie:

Gorgeous! Oh, and my socks love the bag much more than the ziplock one! They are very happy. :)

Awesome sky! Love the way you captured the sun's rays escaping the convines of the cloud.

Love your Saturday Sky!! What a VIEW!!! Looks "prophetic", "biblical".....mine was just plain washed out due to the hazy heat!!!
