S.A.T.U.R.D.A.Y. NIGHT!

My rear on the couch may know it's Saturday, but it took most of the day for my brain to figure it out. This meant I had to break out the tripod to get my Saturday Sky photo for the week.

And I have to say, I was thrilled by all the flattering comments about my hair (we'll just ignore the snarky commenter with the God complex), but in the interest of full disclosure, I have to admit that it only looks like that for about six hours every six weeks. Seriously, I figured it out. Six hours every six weeks means that 99.4% of the time it looks like this:

Go on, you can say it! LOSER!

That's okay, too. But not *quite* as glamorous.

Isn't it enough to know that your hair CAN look like that whenever you need it to? Who wants to be glamourous every day? It's way too much work!

Six hours every two weeks. An hour a week? So not including weekends, it looks like you're a supermodel for 12 minutes each day of the work week??? I'd take that. My husband would go for that. 12 minutes a day. My husband would DEFINITELY go for that - as long as he's actually around for those 12 minutes. That would be 12 consecutive minutes, right??

I wish my hair was so pretty and thick even when it's in a ponytail flip. :)

And your Saturday sky is just beatiful. Ahhh. Hard to believe you're in Oklahoma with a view like that! heh

well - I guess that comes from being in a profession where you cannot wear it down eh? :-)
gorgeous sky shot btw.

Beautiful sky shot! I wear my hair up all the time too. But maybe that's because it doesn't look like yours when it's down!!

That looks very much like a Calgary sky… and that six hours every two weeks is worth every single penny… am I right? ;-D

Heck, I currently wish that my hair *were* long enough to wear up! Loser? Nah.

Kim:

Loser? Hardly--it's still so shiny and beautiful.

Still looks fine to me. And much, much easier to do. :)

Gracie:

Do you know what? That is what my hair looks like today! Maybe we should kidnap our hairstylists and make them live with us.

That's why I cut mine short. I kept throwing it up so there was no point. Your hair is gorgeous.

Oh dear, I've let my Bloglines go so long that I have allowed your "snarky commenter with a god complex" assertion go unchallenged for days and days!

I sincerely think your hair is beautiful (even pulled up casually!) and really didn't mean to be snarky about it. Everyone SHOULD have their one vanity -- and yours is a good one!
