This plant was a gift from one of the local businesses when we opened the clinic. Apparently they flower once in a lifetime.

The plant does die after it flowers, but a new one will grow in its place. My parents had one for about 17 years. Pretty things, aren't they?

definately MORE than once in a lifetime - we own one of these plants, and it flowers every single summer (or at least it has for the past 5 years)..... I love it!
