Today was the culmination of Frontier Days in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.

And we were in a parade!

There were, of course, horses. Lots of big horses. Lots and lots of big horses.

And a little horse.

There were fancy cars.

There were princesses.

And politicians.

All in the setting of small town charm.

Under a Saturday Sky.

Life is good!

What fun! Is this where you live or were you on vacation?

How fun! And to be in a parade! The only parades I got to be in were pregame parades and they weren't that much fun.
That little horse is adorable.

Small towns can really be charming! And I think I want a little horse now.

Looks like a fun day. So different than parades here in New England, though!

Was it as windy there as it was in Guthrie yesterday? I went with a friend to the Apples and Quilts Festival in Guthrie, and it was just hot and miserable--I'm so ready for fall! And of course, both of us forgot our cameras, so we missed the shot of the scarecrow in front of SWAK Knits that was knitting a scarf. But we're going back for the Wine Festival in October, so maybe it will still be there.

What fun! People can talk about the Macy's Thanksgiving parade all they want, but my favorite kind are the ones where you know the people marching.

Looks like fun!
Funny, there's a Camp Tecumseh right near my family's lake house on Lake Winnipesaukee in NEW HAMPSHIRE...I wonder if the two names could have possibly come from the same original source?
