I know. I know it's Sunday! All I can say is that I am frequently chronologically challenged.

But I also have knitting content. So you are rewarded for your patience with me.
I am knitting with…wait for it…my own handspun alpaca!! (See, I actually hear that in bold italics in my head; that is how very excited I am to be knitting with my own handspun alpaca)!!

Specs:
Yarn: My own handspun alpaca!!*
Fiber Source: Rocky Mt High from Spunky Eclectic
Pattern: Branching Out from Knitty.com
Needles: Addi Turbo US#5
It's also time to cast on for a new pair of socks, and I have several picked out. I'm so ignoring the fact that I also have several pair already on the sticks, so please work with me here.
Titania's Revenge. The yarn is STR in Scaponia.
Or…

Giotto. In either Wading or Blush, both from Brooklyn Handspun.
Any thoughts?
*Reminds me of when Brenda Dayne from Cast-on mentions Addi Turbo and the little turbo noise she plays.

But, did you spin that yarn yourself, or what?? (grin)
Saturday or Sunday, that sky is just lovely!

I love the scarf, it is gorgeous! The yarn is beautiful. I am all for the Giotto pattern; I have been meaning to knit that myself.

Everything is beautiful. Your handspun is turning into a great scarf and it's going to be wonderful around your neck. Scaponia is such a fun yarn with the color differences in it and Marie's two yarns are both wonderful! Have fun deciding which socks they'll become.

I think Giotto in the pink - but a bit longer on the legs....

you scarf is looking so beautiful - and you SHOULD be saying it over and over - my own handspun - it is one of the most wonderful things to knit with yarn that you've spun yourself - especially when it turned out gorgeous like yours.
Sock yarns and patterns... one of my most favorite things to dream about. Happy choosing! (and no, no"advice" from this end of the states.. they'll all be beautiful!)

Oooh your own handspun, gorgeous!
I love giotto in the blue, I think that would look gorgeous and don't you just love her patterns?

Oh my goodness, your alpaca looks gorgeous and really soft. Love the colorway too. You did an absolutely marvelous job spinning this. It looks proefessional to me:)
Oh and for the socks I vote for Titania's Reveng. Matter of factly, I just wound up that yarn this morning before heading out to work... Thinking that I really really wanted to cast on for this Titania Socks. So if you choose this one we can have our own little KAL. I'm sticking with the sock of the month color so if you choose your scaponia then we could compare:)

Your hand-spun is beautiful!
And I'll vote for Titania's Revenge, because if Oberon got the Midsummer, I think Titania should take Midwinter for her revenge.

I must stop the drooling-I must. That alpaca is gorgeous. Can I feel it? Can I have it? Oh well, you deserve such gorgeous stuff.
Oh and I never think to take Saturday's sky on Saturday. Sunday sky would be better for me. How about jts sky. Or anyday sky. That's how challenged I am!

Whir-whoosh! Your own handspun alpaca? You're a better woman than me, that's for certain.
For what it's worth, I prefer Titania's Revenge, but it's just a matter of personal taste.

Dude! You're knitting with your own handspun! It's gorgeous! Good pattern choice, too. Looks like it will go just as far as you need it to. And by the way, the next time you wince at my yardage choices, do it aloud, okay? I wish I'd sucked it up and bought more roving sooner!

I don't think I've seen such a pretty Branching Out!! Perfect pattern choice for the yarn. Beautiful! Delicious! Heavenly soft! I hope I can make such a lovely project with my own handspun some time! :)

Wow, your handspun is just beautiful! I can't wait to see how Branching Out looks finished.
I vote for Giotto in the blueish yarn, but that's just what I'd choose. I don't actually expect the world to adhere to my personal taste. :)
