Knitters rock! This will come as no surprise to anyone, but still, I wanted to go on record and say “Knitters Rockâ€! You guys are supportive and loving and have warmed my heart with your response to my last post. As you can imagine, it was hard for me to write. But also liberating! Thank you all so much!
As promised, this blog will not become solely about self actualization (learned that phrase in Psych 101 and have loved it every since and use it at every opportunity! Just be glad you've been spared thus far)! There is knitting!

Generic 64 stitch sock
Vesper Sock Yarn in Astro
Crystal Palace Bamboo 2.5mm dpn
Odd confession time: Despite having a decent stash of Vesper Sock Yarn, I must admit that this is my first pair of Vesper Socks. I collect it because anything that is sold out all the time has to be good! Right?
And it is!! Love the stuff. It's soft and squooshy (another favorite word of mine). But the best part? No row counting! After I knit the first sock, all I had to do was keep track of the stripes and I knew exactly when to end the ribbing, start the heel flap, turn the heel and start the toe decreases. And they match perfectly! Another knitting nirvana moment!

Well, of course we like you, silly! Why else would we be here? :)
I love your Vesper socks. I finally managed to get my hands on a skein during the last shop update, and after seeing yours, I can't wait to cast on!

Pretty! I have one lonely skein sitting in the stash waiting to become socks. I love the yarn, I just wish it was superwash.

You lucky duck - all that vesper and such yummy socks!
I've never actually tried vesper out although I've been dearly wanting to. You know - because it's always sold out. =) Have you been buying it all??? =)

You Rock and so do these socks! Whats funny is that like you... I have just about every color that Julia has created and no socks yet... I thinK it may have been an obsessive compulsion of mine --I had to have it since it was so hard to come by:)
I love the way your astro socks came out and can totally relate to the counting the stripes thing heehee... I did the same thing with my last pair of socks:)

Beautiful socks and I love the colors! So springy! I have one special skein of Vesper given to me in a swap and, for now, I just love looking at it and petting it.

You're welcome - it's good to know that one's not alone with their problems.
The sock yarn looks yummy, it reminds me of ice cream. Apple, strawberry, lemon... mmmh!

Love the colorway! Is the Vesper really as good as they say? I guess it is if it's "nirvana!" I've never had the pleasure.

Very cute socks. Now my next Q...will your self be actualizing the FPS stole? I've asked a few times now and I see nothing about it on the blog....if you want to remain part of the KAL at your own pace that's fine and I'll stop asking, but PLEASE just let me know either way?
