Correct me if I am wrong, but somehow I’m thinking that this is not what Keri had in mind for her Fingerless Mitts for Fall KAL. What do you think, Keri? Would this win me any points for style? Thought not.

I have a rather painful case of tendonitis in my right wrist. While it represents multiple challenges to activities such as knitting and other, I assure you, quite necessary personal functions, it was worth it. I now have cute office furniture.

And before my hand was laid low by super heavy particle board, I managed to finish up one Monkey and start the mate.

I fell in love with these socks when I saw (now sadly blogless) Amanda’s version in blue. So as to not induce severe withdrawal symptoms, I did not completely abandon my habitual purple color family, but instead selected Dream in Colors Smooshy Sock Yarn in Deep Seaflower. Me likey a lot!

Gosh! Maybe you need to decorate your new mitt with pretty yarn. Since you're injured, maybe you could just drape it over?
And the Monkeys are gorgeous. I love the colorway. Monkeys are on the horizon for me...

I love your new office furniture! That stuff really is very heavy. I hope your tendonitis gets better soon! Especially so you can finish your Monkey. ;)

Uh oh, sorry about your wrist/hand! Tendonitis is the pits. And the fashion isn't all that fashionable. Oh, well. Your furniture is the bomb (which, of course, is no longer fashionable, either--heh).
I have some of that same (or very similar) Smooshy! And now I know what to do with it--it looks amazing in a monkey.

Ouch, that looks bad. I'm having similar problems and trying to balance computer and knitting time, but it's not easy. Good luck!

Ow. Awesome furniture though. That's an office that would be pleasant to be in. The Smooshy sock yarn is really pretty. The color reminds me a little of the Tahoe color in Lorna's Laces, but less stripey.

Your Monkey socks look great! I gave up on the five needle version because I kept messing up How do you use a Circular? Is it easy? I do have some nice yarn. I will have to give it another go after the new year, really after some charity projects and a little sweater for my grandson. Just keep taking care of your hands and your heart and your dogs. Darcy sounds like a very fine name indeed!
