Hey Y'all!
Welcome to New Bra Monday! And don’t go trying to tell me that wearing a new bra on a Monday is never a good idea, because I had that whole conversation with myself this morning and apparently I JUST DON’T LISTEN!!! All I’m thinking is its Monday, and who doesn’t need a little bit of extra support on a Monday? It’s got to make your Monday go better, right?
Now I’m not one of those get ‘em measured, find the perfect fit, specialty bra kind of women. I’m pretty standard size and just about any Target or Wally World will carry a Playtex that will fit me. Thing is, I haven’t bought a new bra in awhile, and I forgot what un-relaxed elastic and new under wire can do to a person. We may only be talking a few inches here, but that lift is enough to make me feel like I my 5 foot 5 1/2 inch person is looking down at my desk over a 4-½ foot cement retaining wall! These puppies are indeed lifted and separated!
I’ve had shoe sales persons tell me to walk around on carpeted floors and take an older, comfortable pair of shoes with you the first few times you wear your new shoes to work to change into in case they get uncomfortable. Never knew that applied to new bras. It would never have occurred to me to test-drive my new bra and take a back up bra to work with me. See what you get when you bargain shop for support garments? We live and learn!
And for all of you offering support and prayers for my recertification exam, a big hug and a huge cheer! I received notification this morning that I passed! Yay!!!

You crack me up! Although I could have the same post to my blog a few weeks ago. I got one that is a push up and the under padding has hearts in it. had me wondering if I would have hearts indented at the end of the day......nope......

It's good to get the girls up where they belong. Congrats on passing your exam. I never had a doubt.

Hooray! Congrats on passing! I knew you could do it! =)
Never knew it applied to bras either but I can't say I've ever had that problem - it's all about the VS, those things are pretty comfortable.

Congratulations on passing your exam. Sorry about New Bra Monday. It's safe to say, we have a differing mentality on the whole bra issue. A friend of mine was looking at a lingerie chest at my store. Her comment was, "Oh how perfect! A drawer for white bras, a drawer for black bras, one for white undies, one for black undies and one for nylons." I just looked at her... there is a whole world she's missing! Even though I am a pretty standard 34C, you wouldn't believe what a difference getting a fitting makes. All 34C's are not alike and a fabulous bra makes me feel... well fabulous.

Congratulations on passing AND on your newly enhanced rack! (I'm going to assume they had nothing to do with each other.)

Congratulations on the exam! That's great news! =) I never have had my "girls" measured either. There isn't much to measure. I have one favorite Wonderbra that I wear as much as possible, then one less favorite one that I have to wear when the Wonderbra is being washed. I need another Wonderbra. This one has seen me through two pregnancies (I just barely filled it out then) and is still working great for me. I guess that's why they cost what they do.

Firstly, congrats! Secondly, this probbably falls under TMI (too much info) but I had to be measured for a bra recently because two years ago I had a reduction and finally decided to get new bras! I would have never known my size and very happy I now know. If you really want to know, email me and I will tell you.
