I miss the glory days of knit blogging.
There’s lots of knitting still going on, but a lot less of it showing up on blogs and a lot more of it recorded on Ravelry. Which I can’t say is a bad thing. Searching for a particular pattern or yarn has never been easier. There’s been a ton of stuff added to my knitting queue because I saw a variation on Ravelry that made me look at a pattern a second time. For once my intended knitting actually has a chance of using the majority of my stash. If I live to be a thousand.
I’ve gotten a good head start.

1. Artichoke Socks in Fleece Artist Sea Wool
2. Traveling Vine Socks in Seacoast Merino Tencel
3. Creeping Vines Socks in CTH Supersock Merino
4. Lenore in STR lightweight
And a new toy to make working through that stash a bit more efficient.

Ravelry hasn't changed how I use my blog but I know it has for some people. Your new socks are beautiful and I'm very jealous of your CSM!

Absolutely amazing socks! Please do tell me how that sock machine is working out. I think about that sometimes --purchasing my own sock making machine:)

I like Ravelry for all SORTS of reasons, but still ... it's NOT the same as reading blog entries!
Your socks look great!

When we first were introduced to ravelry, I wondered how it would effect the world of knitblogging. I blog for lots of reasons, and will continue to do so...even though I find Ravelry and incredible resource. Your socks are awesome, Leah!

Great socks! I'm so fond of the artichoke pattern. And the sock machine--cool!!!
I haven't been blogging a lot as it is, but I rarely talk about anything in progress anymore, the way I (and most everyone else) used to. I just mostly post about something when it's finished. But hey, it frees up posting energy for other topics, and none of us are one-dimensional, right? We can do more than knit! =)

All your newest socks are beautiful! I really love Lenore!
You got a CSM! Way cool. I have been thinking about selling mine only because I never really learned to use it like I had planned. I look forward to seeing many pretty new socks from you and your sock machine!

Yes, Ravelry is a fantastic tool, but you can't beat blogs for getting to know more about people.

I'm pretty slack about Ravelry. Because of that, I always feel a little guilty taking advantage of the pattern finder. The guilt doesn't stop me from using it!

Ooo, please tell me about your new toy! It looks like those round things that children knit with. But this looks more serious. Is it just the right diameter for knitting socks? Speaking of socks - yours are beautiful!
