On Snowy Days and Spinning

They just seem to go together, snowy days and spinning.

Not to mention I found these little 1oz battlets particularly apropos:

Peri-twinkle Beautiful Battlets
95% Hand-dyed Superwash Merino & 5% icicle sparkle

Purchased from the ever creative Keri of Knitting Gritty Thoughts (blog and shop of the same name).

Finally, in a frenzy of momentum, I cleaned off a bobbin that has "rested" for about three years, with the following results:

It's not overspun...it's just really excited to be yarn!

Ooh these caught my eye on flickr and I thought My those look familiar! And then I came over here and there they are - oh so fluffy! They look like they're spinning up nicely!

Are you still at the same address? I've been wanting to send you a set of new spinning project cards so you can try them out and label all your handspun. I have a cute new design. =)
